On arrival in Almaty you will meet our representative in airport and will be transfer to your hotel. Once
you checked into hotel enjoy day at leisure.
Riding to the KOKTOBE peak (1,6 km /6 minutes) and enjoying spectacular view in panorama window
cabins. KOK- TOBE 1100m hill on the city southeast edge is crowned by a 372m-high TV tower visible
from far & wide, and affords great views over the city & the mountains, plus an assortment of attractions
at the top. At the top you’ll find YURT (round ) restaurant and panorama city view restaurant, crafts
shops, a roller-coaster, a mini-zoo, a children’s.
Pick from hotel at 6:30am. Start driving to Saty village. Almaty to Saty village is 290km(3,5hours). On the way we will
stop to buy coffee at petrol station. Arriving at 10am. Changing car to special offroad soviet minivan taxi. Entering to
national park. Lake is 15km off road from entrance. Again changing taxi. After about 700meters walking. Reaching
mountains at 11am. Spending time: 1 hour. At 12:30pm Start driving to Saty village .
Will see from above the highest mountain skating ring in the world and will speak of its history - will discuss the mud
protection systems on the rivers near Almaty with the view of the first dam of this kind that saved the city in 1973 from a
tremendous mud flow that was ready to ruin it. - if the weather is clear (and its often clear in Almaty) we will get
panoramic view of the whole city and far away steppes that start right behind Almaty
